Easy Conversion of 2D-3D by Mosketch

As of technology grows, the work load of human being decreases day by day. Animated pictures, 3D effects, 2D images fascinate everyone without any age difference. Even kids are also so much interested to experience the digital drawings rather than pencil sketch art. Its easy to learn 2D, anyone can learn from any of their zones but in case of 3D, the course would be provided in only few places. To overcome those issues, the new software is arrived to comfort the users.

Moka studio and Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne (EPFL), a research institute in Switzerland those who are specializes in physical sciences and engineering was developed a new computer software called Mosketch. The developed software is a professional grade software, that is easy to understand by everyone.

With the help of Mosketch, one can easily convert 2D sketches into 3D animation. The artist can make cartoon characters, animals and other actions like jump, dance, run, etc by using stroke of a pen or the click of a mouse. "The strength of our software is that it easily transforms 2D sketches into 3D, allows artists create 3D animation seamlessly and naturally," said Benoit Le Callennec, co-founder and CEO of Moka Studio.

Mosketch software works under two major animation techniques that includes:
1. Direct Kinematics
2. Inverse Kinematics
Direct kinematics helps to alter the joints of characters individually.
Inverse kinetics allows artists to guide movements any part of a character’s body.

The software permits artist to transfer from one method to another. "Thanks to our advanced mathematical models, artists can animate any 3D character without a lot of up-front work. That makes our software much easier to use," said Ronan Boulic, head of the immersive interaction research group at EPFL. Mosketch is not limited to 3D animations, this will be enhanced with advanced features. The features includes 10 to 150 times faster, shaping the posture of character in real time. It helps in the application of virtual reality and robotics.
