About Institution

St. George Education Society’s Christ Academy, Koparkhairane, Navi Mumbai is a venture of CMI(Carmelites of Mary Immaculate) priests, pioneers in the field of modern education. CMI is the first indigenous religious congregation of Catholic Priests, founded by St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara in 1831 at Mannanam, in Kerala. St. George Education Society registered under Bombay Public Trust Act (BPT – 1860) procured a school plot from City and Industrial Development Cooperation (CIDCO) for a composite school. Carmel Pre-School – a home away from home for the Tiny Tots,is the kindergarten section of Christ Academy.

Christ Academy aims at moulding students to grow as intellectually sound, morally upright, spiritually balanced, culturally integrated, socially sensible and competent world citizens.
