About Institution

MCKV Institute of Engineering (MCKVIE) is the premier (established in 1999) self-financed Institutes aspiring to be an Autonomous Institute soon. It has excellent track record of imparting quality education for aspiring engineers over the last sixteen years. It is one of the few self-financing institutes in the country participating in the World Bank assisted Govt. of India sponsored TEQIP-II project and also Quality Enhancement in Engineering Education (QEEE) programme MHRD. MCKVIE is placed among the 17 best participating engineering colleges in India by MHRD in their recent survey. MCKVIE is one of the authorized international centres of TOEFL iBT and is certified by ETS, New Jersey.

The Institute offers 4-Year B. Tech in Automobile Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology and Mechanical Engineering, 2-Year full time M. Tech. in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Automotive Technology, ECE (VLSI Design) and 3-Year Master of Computer Applications. The faculty of the Institute has distinguished themselves through awards for academic activity from national as well as international organizations. Institute encourages them to obtain Ph.D. degree in the area of their specialization by providing various facilities and today about 25% of faculty members are having Ph.D degree and balance all of them teaching in engineering fields are having M.Tech or M.E degree. A Sprawling Library with e-Journals & e-Books, Gym and Meditation Centre are some infrastructural Unique Selling Points of MCKVIE. Students receive accolades & awards from National Level Project Competitions and present Research Papers in various Conferences.
