MYRA School of Business, known for being ‘Global in its vision and Indian in its mission’, has partnered with Bothell School of Business, University of Washington to encourage students to experience an understanding of international business dynamics coupled with a vibrant cultural exchange.
The 2-week Global Immersion Program at Bothell entailed a set of academic workshops taught by UWB faculty and local business leaders; two workshops on Search Engine Marketing & Game Theory; and Industry Visits. MYRA students got an opportunity to explore business practices adopted in aerospace, technology and supply chain management in companies such as Nintendo, Boeing, Microsoft, Amazon, T-Mobile, Winshuttle and others in the Pacific Northwest areas. These were followed by interactive sessions with company leadership members and a discussion on “Futures and Options”. Hands-on pragmatic learning experiences were the key takeaways of the program, said Prof. Shalini Urs, Chairperson, MYRA.
The participants received a Course certificate signed by Dr. Sandeep Krishnamurthy, Dean, Bothell School of Business, University of Washington, Seattle, who spearheaded this program. He is also a visiting faculty member of MYRA and teaches Digital Interactive Marketing and related topics at MYRA.
