We’re helping to empower Canada’s Independent recording artists. Our programming is designed to improve Canada’s independent artist development system through education, opportunity and support. Membership is free and gives you full access to The New Indie,The CIRAA Mentorship Program and The CIRAA Groundbreaker Grant.Canada is home to thousands of professional artists, actively pursuing independent careers autonomous of larger and more commercial music businesses. These artist entrepreneurs are an important part of the Canadian music industry and our cultural fabric. They are also Canada’s most undervalued and underserved demographic of professional Canadian artist. CIRAA is dedicated to the support of Canadian artist entrepreneurs by advocating for a long-term, grassroots approach to independent artist development and support in Canada.
