Mung Chiang (born 1977) is an American engineering researcher, educator, and entrepreneur. He is the Arthur LeGrand Doty Professor of Electrical Engineering at Princeton University,and an affiliated faculty in Applied and Computational Mathematics and in Computer Science.He won Alan T. Waterman Award in 2013 for developing methods for analyzing the often complex interaction between different layers of wireless networks, his work creates a principled picture of seemingly chaotic interactions and allows for systematic solutions to previously intractable problems.
