Geoffrey Alan Ozin (23 August 1943 in London ) is a British-Canadian chemist in the field of nanochemistry . He is a professor at the University of Toronto.Ozin studied chemistry at King's College, University of London with a Bachelor's degree in 1965 and in 1967 in Inorganic Chemistry at the University of Oxford doctorate (Oriel College). 1967-1969 he worked as ICI fellow at the University of Southampton , before he went to the University of Toronto in 1969. There he became Professor in 1977 and 2001 University professor (the highest rank of professors from the University). In the same year he received a Canada Research Chair in Materials Chemistry.In 2011 he received the Albert Einstein World Award of Science for Nanochemistry field.
