Bhavdiya Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research (BIPSR), Sewar, Sohawal, Faizabad (UP) celebrated The World Pharmacists Day th on 25 September 2014, at the BIPSR campus. The function started with Maa Saraswati Vandna and lighting of lamp by Mr. N K Swami, Asst. Commissioner (Drugs), Faizabad who presided in the capacity of Chief Guest for the program in the presence of special guests Mr. Udaybhan Singh, Drug Inspector, Faizabad and Mr. Avi Anand, President, Faizabad Chemist and Druggist Association, Dr. S K Ghataury, President for the program, Dr. S K Kushwaha, Principal, BIPSR, Director General Prof. M R Verma, Chairman Eng. P N Verma and Secretary Dr. Awdhesh Verma, Bhavdiya Group of Institutions (BGI), Faizabad. The students and faculty members took the Pharmacist's Oath collectively to remind their role towards the society and health care system. Banners and posters, portraying various aspects of pharmacy and health care issues, were prepared and displayed by the students. Professor M R Verma, Director General, BGI, addressed the institution and achievements. Furthermore the function was preceded with a speech by Mr. N K Swami; He explained the significance of a pharmacist in the society and the health care team
