The College, B. Raghuanth Arts, Commerce and Science was started in 1999 in the month of June by Adv.Ashok Soni, Member of Management Council of Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded and Management Council of G.S.P.M., Parbhani. B.Raghunath was a very famous Marathi Poet, short story writer and novelist of Marathwada Region. The college has been situated in backward area of Marathwada facing scarcity of industrial development and variety of education and employment opportunities.
The College offers education with 17 subjects at the graduate level and 02 subjects at Post graduate level. The teaching staff acquires necessary qualifications and full of research attitude as to keep pace with time. 19 teachers of the staff completed Ph.D’s, 12 of them completed M.Phil’s and 13 of them passed NET/SET.
The 16 members of teaching staff are engaged with Minor and Major research projects. The teachers view research attitudes, the notion of social science, student’s welfare and morality as the parts and parcel of the field of education as stated by various educational committees. The College has, therefore, set up an enriched library having 9000 books on various subjects, Magazines and Research Journals. The Library has a reading room with news papers tables which is provided for the students to read 07 multilingual newspapers to update their general knowledge.
The College has active units of N.S.S.volunteers. The total strength of volunteers is 120 in the Scheme of National Service Scheme. Besides, the College has Internal Quality Assurance Cell, Earn and Learn Scheme for students along with Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Study Centre, Competitive Examination Study Centre (aided by UGC), Remedial Coaching Scheme, and Certificate Courses in Human Right Education, Soil and water analysis and Spoken English and Phonetics (aided by UGC) and Gymnasium. We have a computerized Library and the office. Every department is provided with computer facility. It is our priority to preserve all types of record in systematic and computerized manner. The ‘Pratibimba’, the college miscellany offers a stage for creativity among students interested in various literatures.
