About Institution

Daddy's Home is a non-profit organization providing a home-away-from-home environment for the special child. Daddy's Home was conceived under Daddy's Home Charitable Trust in 1989 as response to a felt need for a school for the mentally disadvantaged children of Goa, India.

Within our own premises situated on a hilltop at Gogol, Margao in Goa, Daddy's Home has been functional thanks to the generosity of friends and well-wishers.

Our endeavor is called 'Daddy's Home', symbolizing all that goes with strength, caring, sharing and concern of Our Father God, more affectionately termed "Daddy".

Vision

To be a voluntary welfare organization that advances the development, well-being and aspirations of persons with intellectual disability and their integration into society.

To empower persons with intellectual disabilities and their families, so as to enable them to maximize their potential and fulfill their aspirations.

Daddy’s Home sees itself as a beacon of hope for the special children and their families by empowering them to actualize their differently-abled skills to become useful and productive members of society, thus living fuller lives with dignity.

Mission

Daddy’s Home has thrown its doors wide open to all the children and adults who are mentally disadvantaged and slow learners, no matter what their age, caste or creed may be.

It provides an atmosphere within which such children will bring out their very best and try and live an independent life.
