Admission Procedure

: You may collect the prospectus and the application form from the DESIFT office on any day from Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm. The prospectus along with the application form is available for INR 800 in our office. It can also be couriered to your address on payment of INR 875 by a Demand Draft drawn in favour of DESIFT payable at Pune. Step 2: The application form duly filled has to be submitted on or before July 15, 2012 at our office. Step 3: The applicant will then have to undergo a Media Aptitude Test (MAT). This test can also be undertaken online if requested for the same. Step 4: On successfully clearing the MAT, the applicant will have to undergo a Personal Interview with our panel. Step 5: A Merit List of selected candidates will be declared on the specified date Step 6: The selected candidate will be required to pay the fees and complete the admission formalities within the stipulated date. DES has set up an Admission Committee that establishes the admission procedure, screens applications and ensures selection of suitable candidates. The committee decides on the nature of tests to be conducted for determining the suitability of the candidate for the course. The Admissions Committee has the right to reject applications without assigning any reasons whatsoever. The objective of admission tests and personal interview is to assess the candidate's aptitude and suitability for the profession. Since the medium of instruction is English, the admission tests seek to ascertain the student's proficiency in English language.
