Dr. Ambedkar Global Law Institute's visionary founder Sri R Thippa Reddy strongly believes in three tenets - everyone in the country should have awareness of the law of the land, ignorance of the law excuses no one "Ignorantia juris non excusat" and access to legal education and aid should be available to everyone irrespective of their socio-economic background. This spark has led to the formation of one of India's finest law schools, right here in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh

The journey started as Dr. Ambedkar Law College, in 1991, under the stewardship of Founder-Correspondent, Sri R Thippa Reddy, B.Sc. LLM, under Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Educational Society, a registered organisation under The Societies Registration Act, 1860 with the Government of Andhra Pradesh

Since its inception, the college has grown to become one of the leading law schools of India. This college was started to serve the educational needs of the students from India and abroad. In the past 24 years, the college has grown formidably in strength and reputation. With over 2000 active students and a world-class campus, the college remains coveted in the hearts and minds of law aspirants. Our alumni have gone on to become top-notch jurists, judges, advocates and lawmakers around the world.
