Set your goal for long-term and short-term. Long-term goal takes a long period of time to achieve it . Time period of long-term goal is above five to twenty years from the present. Long-term goals are also divide into lifetime goals, enabling goals/operational goals and capstone goals. Short-term goal is stepping stone for long-term goal. Short-goal can be achieved in near future which can be typically achieved within one year. They are not always framed and are divided into foundational goals and provisional goals.
