About Institution

K J Somaiya College of Engineering (KJSCE), which is an institution having a commitment towards Quality in Technical Education. With the backing of a progressive management, requisite infrastructure, committed staff and versatile students, our College is one of the most sought after colleges in the University of Mumbai.
Right since the inception of our College, there have been conscious and persistent efforts towards pursuit for excellence. Recently; all UG programs were provisionally accredited for 2 years by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) New Delhi.Further, a feather is added to our cap, when we became the first Self-financed (private) Engineering College affiliated to University of Mumbai to get an Autonomous Status. From the academic year 2014-15 our College will have “Academic Autonomy” whereby, while continuing to be affiliated to University of Mumbai, the College will award Degree on behalf of University of Mumbai.
