This vidyalaya was established in 1986 with classes I-V inside BSF Campus Panthachowk and is functioning up to class XII. The new building has been constructed with the expenditure of more than 5crores having all the modern state of art facilities, which is only of its kind among all KVs of this valley. This Vidyalaya is fulfilling its commitments to make the children a good citizen of the nation. Besides quality education ,the students are given full exposure in the field of co curricular activities, music, games and sports, drawing and painting, science exhibition, musical arts, social science exhibition ,cultural activities. The Vidyalaya is fully equipped with all the necessities accepting the challenge of fast moving and changing educational system of the global world. Our main objective is to inject the spirit of National Integration among the children to make them true citizens of the nation.
