M.D.N. College of Education is named on Maharishi Dayanand Sarswati was a great Social Reformer of 19th Century. MDN College of Education, Kalayat has a profound philosophy of raising successful and responsible citizens, rooted in Indian culture and tradition. Our motto is to tempt children to learning and not to torment them with its burden. The endeavor of this institution is to make education a happy learning experience, which would sensitize child to feel, observe, absorb, listen, understand and live life in a more meaningful & successful manner. The aim of the school is to impart integrated and comprehensive education which is both formative and informative. Jyoti Shiksha Samiti is the apex body which is managing and running various educational institutions. Established with the objective of imparting education to the society, it has established a educational institution namely M.D.N. Sr. Sec. School, Considering the fact that education and educator are indispensable, the Managing Committee decided to establish to ultra modern institution i.e. one new college to develop best quality of teachers for our future generation, named M.D.N College of Education. M.D.N Sr. Sec. School was started in 1995 with a motive to eradicate the educational backwardness of Kalayat area to provide better education to Rural &urban childern, when there was no education for rural childern in this region. At that time, the school was started from 250 students.by providing better education and gaining extraordinary achievements institutiongot name&fame in very short duration. providing quality education to ensure total development of the child. As a result Now it has more than 2000 students.. Now a days school standard is sr.sec.withArts,Commerce& Science faculties. School is permenantely recognized by Haryana Govt.and t affiliated to C.B.S.E from April2008
