About Institution

Mithila Minority Dental College Hospital, Darbhanga was established in 1989. The instituion is sponsored by the Darbhanga Divisional Muslim Welfare Society, it has grown to its persent stature under the able and dynamic leadership of the managing director Imbesat Shaukat. The main aim is to make the institution a centre of academic excellence through appropriate, innovative and need based patterns of teaching and learning which are students centered, problem based and community oriented, so as to set high parameters of quality health education of global standards with specific focus on rural population. It is permanently affiliated by the L.N. Mithila University, Darbhanga and recognized by the Govt. of India ,Ministry of Health Family Welfare Nirman Bhawan,New Delhi and Dental Councle of India.
