Anna University Registrar S.Ganesan announced the schedule for Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA 2016) counseling. As per his statement, the committee will release on June 22 the rank list for students who have applied for engineering counselling. The random number for applicants will be released on June 20. 

The counselling for sports quota will take place on June 24, physically disabled candidates will attend counselling on June 25 and counselling for general candidates will begin on June 27. As many as 1,85,070 candidates had registered this year and paid the fee for application forms, but 1,34,722 candidates alone had submitted the filled-in forms.

Engineering aspirants can download their call letter from TNEA website for counselling by providing TNEA registration number, name and date of birth. For the first time, the university will provide overnight staying facility for girl students at the university campus this year. The student and one more female accompaniment will be accommodated on the campus on a first-come-first-serve basis one day prior to their counselling date.
