In its third year, the annual conference and journal, Think Creativity & Intelligences Quest (thinkCIQ), is all set to strategize on ways to innovate and improve the standard of children's education in the country.

Bringing together kids, mentors, parents and thinkers, thinkCIQ revolves around Emerging Practices in Education, with a bottoms-up approach being the primary method of implementation. The brainchild of educationists Mansoor Ali Khan, S Selvarajan and M Srinivasan, thinkCIQ, on from September 17-18, aims to be an institute for learning and evolution of ideas focusing on how to change, and not just the need for change.

Doyens from various fields will speak on creativity and innovation in the sphere of holistic learning. The keynote speakers are Jayanti Tambe from UCLA Early Care and Education, South African Creativity Foundation president Kobus Neethling, Leonie Baldacchino from the Edward de Bono Institute for the Design & Development of Thinking, and IAS officer R Balakrishnan.

Additionally, the conference will feature a Carnatic music rendition by vocalist TM Krishna, who will also throw light on education, culture, art and society. The Awakened & Innovative Mentors Awards will be launched this year, where India's top 100 mentors will be recognized. The top three among them will be felicitated at the two-day thinkCIQ conference.
