UK-based University of Lincoln has announced 5 Academic Excellence Scholarships for the Academic Year 2016-17. These scholarships, which are worth up to £5000, will be awarded on merit basis to five self-funded Indian students with a consistently good academic record who will be enrolling for the full-time Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme offered by the Lincoln Business School.
The one-year MBA programme from University of Lincoln has two enrollment cycles, i.e. September and February. It is aimed at equipping students for senior management positions where they will be addressing issues of corporate policy and strategic implementation.The programme facilitates the development of skills, expertise and vision to enable managers to be critical, analytical and creative in their organisations.
The Lincoln MBA allows students to implement their learning in practice by applying relevant theories to issues in real-world scenarios through case studies.The programme also allows students a unique opportunity to undertake a consultancy project on behalf of an organisation.
The programme enables students to evaluate and analyse organisational problems and discriminate between alternative strategies of implementation.
The programme offers an interesting mix of fundamental modules, core modules and elective modules. While the fundamental modules consist of the theories and ideas to be studied throughout the programme, core modules include areas like Business Economics, Managerial Finance, Marketing and Innovation, Managing People, Organisational Strategy, Research Design and Methods, Group Consultancy Project and the MBA Dissertation project.
The tuition fees for the programme is £14,400, of which £5000 can be met through the Academic Excellence Scholarship. In order to qualify for the Scholarship, the applicant must have a 1st Class Honours Degree in a related discipline.
