The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has postponed itsCombined Graduate Level Examination (CGLE) Tier-1 to August from the originalscheduled dates of May 8 and 22.

A notice put up by SSC has said that the exact dates will beannounced soon and the decision has been taken in the larger interest of thecandidates appearing for the examination.

The commission functions under the central government andconducts recruitment of Group B non-gazette and Group C non-technical vacanciesin the country under three levels - Tier I, Tier II and Tier III.
