About Institution

The College, was established in 1978 after the demand of the public representatives. Banda is a place of saint VAMDEV. It is situated near river Ken which is famous for its SAZAR stone. It is about 70 Km far away from Chitrakoot in west and about 200 Km in east from Jhansi.The college was accredited by NAAC in January 2006. At the time of establishment there were only 34 students in arts faculty. After continuoes efforts, it is running successfully in its own grand building at Zila Parishad Chauraha Aliganj Banda affiliated with Bundelkhand College . At present scenario 1747 students are studying in different disciplines . The increasing passing percentage of college students, holding positions in the College merit list , enthusiastic participation in sports, extracurricular activities glorifies the college image.
