About Institution

SHASRA EDUCATIONAL SOCIETY was established in 2007, having the goal of providing quality education to the people (society) with this vision, the trust has started an institute for pharmacy under the name of ‘SAHASRA INSTITUTE OF PHARMACEUTICAL SCIENCES’. The institute is marching towards the goal of providing pharmacy education to the students efficiently and in a standard manner through well experienced and dedicated faculties. Apart from education, the institution is focused on various extra-curricular activities both on academic and as well as non-academic. The non-academic activities include frequent conduct of blood donation camps health camps. The college has adequate laboratories for all the departments as per AICTE, PCI, and KAKATIYA UNIVERSITY regulations. The lab assistants periodically trained regarding safe use of chemicals, handling of fire extinguisher, and first aid. Pharmacy is the health profession that links the health sciences with the chemical sciences and it is charged with ensuring the safe and effective use of pharmaceutical drugs. The word derives from the Greek:(pharmakon), meaning "drug" or "medicine" The branch of the health sciences dealing with the preparation, dispensing, and proper utilization of drugs and place where drugs are compounded. We now feel optimistic that our college students will excel in the academic achievements by utilizing the services of facilities and make our dream of creating a top rank institution among the pharmacy colleges, into reality.th management is also striving hard work to provide all the required facilities from time to time. The college is firmly believes that education is incomplete without discipline. The institution is confident in making it. The college is regularly arranging the industrial visits, which are made to explore the students to wide range of large-scale equipments and industrial processes.
