Being 18th in the time scale of Sainik School, this main institution was unveiled on 22.08.1970 by the then Defence Minister Late Sh. Jagjivan Ram. The founder Principal of the School was Sh. N.N. Seth. The School was initially began in the present Chenab House with classes from VI to VIII before becoming a entire and growing campus in the later years. This school is affiliated by CBSE Delhi. The Sainik school main aim is to prepare boys mentally, accademicallyfor entry in National Defence Academy
