About Institution

This institute was founded in Bhavnagar ( western part of India ) in 1910. Founder member was Nanabhai Bhatt with passage of time Harbhai Trivedi & Gijubhai Badheka also joined it. This institute was started in very small two rooms of Takhtsinhji Dharmshala during the period of Maharaja Bhavsinhji. Today this institute has seven different educational departments. That indicates the progress of this institute. One of the department of this institute is SHRI DAKSHINAMURTI VINAY MANDIR, which was established in 1973. In the beginning, it was a very small unit. With passage of time it has developed in a big way. After the introduction of Higher Secondary section Dakshinamurti Vinay Mandir is developed into very big unit (At the present there are four classes of each standard 8 to 10. There are four classes of each standard 11 & 12 of General Stream & Science Stream.).
