The display of scientific instruments in the crest depicts the acquisition of scientific knowledge and the technological advancement. The cluster of stars depicts to soar as high as the stars in acquiring knowledge to remain as soft as the light in manners which signifies the spread of knowledge. The placement of a tree along with a tiger depicts the harmonious growth of nature. The paddy stem in the middle of the crest speaks the agrarian prosperity of this locality.
