Sri Channegowda College of Nursing run by Sri Channegowda education Trust (R) is approved by Government of Karnataka, Karnataka State Nursing Council and by Indian Nursing Council. Sri Channegowda College of Nursing is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of health sciences, Karnataka. The managing Trustee of the Trust Dr. Devaraj.N.C., M.B.B.S., M.D.DVD is a well-known Dermatologist having 20 years of dedicated service in his profession. Dr. Devaraj.N.C is also the managing Director of the 100 bed Hospital. The hospital has the support of all the specialists and super specialist with good experience, dedication, reputation and name in the medical profession.
The college was started in memory of chairman’s father Sri.N.T.Channe Gowda, B.SC. (Hons) (1920-1996) .He was born in Negamangala a small village in kolar District. He was the Second graduate in kolar District. He is a freedom fighter, congress district secretary and small scale industries chairman.
