About Institution

Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School came into being in 1992, with a mission to provide value-oriented education, inspire & kindle the quest of knowledge. The foundation stone was laid by the then Chief Minister of Punjab Late S. Beant Singh.The school upholds truthfulness,compassion, peace, dynamic & ethical values that were strength as well as message of Sri Guru Harkishan Ji, the most brilliant prodigy in the world.The school got affiliated to C.B.S.E. in 1995 upto secondary level vide no. 1630112 since then it is marching forward. It aims at developing all round personality of students by giving them ample opportunities to participate in healthy competitions arranged time to time.The school, curriculum adopts C.B.S.E. syllabus & follows NCERT guidelines. In order to make teaching effective & interesting a wide range of audio-visual aids, computer, library books, art & sport activities are made part of the curriculum.At present school is having air-conditioned computer lab, well stocked library, fully equipped science lab, activity room for nursery kids with recreational material for tiny-tots, a big play-ground & indoor sport hall.
