Swami Vivekanand Mahavidyalaya, Shirur Tajband was established in 1991 with the aim of providing quality higher education to rural and economically backward students. The college persistently seeks and organizes various activities to enhance and sustain the quality education. The campus has a healthy atmosphere and national integrity with the inclusion of students from all the categories. The devoted, experienced and qualified teachers are the great strength for the institution. Our students and alumni are the great source of encouragement for the institution.
