About Institution

The Mar Thoma Syrian Church of Malabar is an organ of the mission of the Lord. Through the church we have been able to identify with the needy and suffering people around us. It is our duty to reach them as quickly as possible.

It was with the humble vision that Mar Thoma Church reached South Malabar and founded many Mar Thoma Centres, 50 years ago after independence. In Kasargode the work hitherto has been the schooling and rehabilitation of the poor Hearing Impaired Children.

But suffering has diverse human forms. We have felt the need of the chronically sick, ailing and the disabled people who look for help with the modest wish to survive here in this world for a little while more. A hospice centre rendezvous for them in their last days.

As a golden jubilee project for the Malabar Mission the SEARCH, an organization of the Kunnamkulam - Malabar Diocese of our church has completed the essential infrastructure for a hospice centre at Kadamana in Kasargod District.
