About Institution

AC Academy was registered as a training, research and develop center under the government of Tamilnadu in the year 2001with a small batch of ten students. Thousands have now passed out of this institute, having enriched their knowledge of a variety of arts. Currently there are 136 Students interiors, fabric painting and art work.

The institute’s production unit K.K nagar employs 20 skilled workers and 50 part time artists who work on bulk orders. The institute’s clients include GRT Regency, Hotel Sangam, and Franco India, YWCA school and Fatima college.

Latha Kalaichelvan, the director of this institution is a graduate from college. A tireless and passionate artist, Latha imparts training in painting using simple and effective methods. She won the “Lions Best Achiever Award” in the year 2004-05 for excellence in art, business and service. Her stall at DRDA, Which was held at the capital of India, won the best stall award. She has received prizes and hours from the hands of luminaries such as the erstwhile Prime ministers Sri. I.L Gujral and Sri.Chandrasehekar and the minister agriculture Sri.Anjit Singh.
