About Institution

Vijaya Fine Arts Society is one of the leading art institute in our state. It was established in 1947, at a time when India attained freedom from the British yoke. It has been closely associated with the growth and development of fine arts, especially in the northern part of Karnataka. It has been rendering an excellent coaching and training to the students and lovers of fine arts. It has produced a number of artists, art teachers, musician and scholars, who have earned distinction and reputation at the state and national levels. Some of its students have been in the fore-front of the contemporary fine arts movement.
Vijaya Fine Arts Society is an institution for an advanced training in fine arts besides developing the skills of the proffetion, it aims at the overall refinement of the perception and an enhancem ent of the aesthetic sence.
Vijaya Fine Arts Society has an efficient and dedicated staff of teachers and artists. The regular programes, seminars, worshop, camps, study tour, exhibitions and demonstrations provide its students ample of oportunities to achieve an insight and mastery in their own chosen field of fine arts. Its resourceful library and well equiped worshop, photography workshop, computer lab and its art gallery will provide budding young artists a wide scope for shaping their carears.
