The institution has the honour of receiving celebrities like Jaya Prakash Narayan , Smt Indira Gandhi, Ex Presidents Sri V V Giri, Neelam Sanjeeva Reddy, a number of Central ministers like Mrs Sheela Kaul, Mrs Phool Reni Guha, Sri Raghu Ramaiah, Sri. Bheemsane Sachar, Governors like Sri Bezawada Gopala Reddy, Sri. Rama Mohan Rao most of the Ex-Chief ministers Sri Damodaram Sanjeevaiah, Sri J Vengal Rao, Sri B Venkat Ram, Sri K Bramhananda Reddy, Sri.N.T.Ramarao, Sri.N.Chandrababu Naidu, Sri.Y.S.Rajasekhar Reddy on different occasions.Character building, all round development of the personality of the students has been given priority all through. As a part of that, community orientation was given importance. In 1970, the management conducted a National Seminar of global importance on “The Homeless Poor”, which was a sensation as it was meant to create awareness among the disadvantaged sections their right to have their own homes.Professors from different universities, intellectuals, cream of the nation participated and presented their views. Whenever there was a natural calamity, the infrastructure was used as a temporary abode for the victims. The Committee left no stone unturned to provide all the facilities needed for the overall development of students. Well established laboratories, well maintained library, well ventilated classrooms, sprawling playgrounds to play any game of their choice, Gym and indoor stadium, parking space, student and staff welfare schemes- are a few to mention.
