About Institution

Yashwantrao Chavan Law College was established in June 1978. The college was known as A.B.M.S. Parishad’s Law College. However, in the year 1987, in the memory of our country’s great visionary leader Late Shri. Yashwantrao Chavan, who rose to the height of Deputy Prime Minister, the college was named after him, as a mark of respect and honour towards him.

The college has received the re-accreditation from NAAC, Bengaluru. Our College is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University on permanent basis and also recognized by the Bar Council of India, New Delhi.
